Biography

Chaoyan Huang received her PhD degree from the Department of Mathematics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), in 2025, advised by Prof. Tieyong Zeng. She received the M.S. from the School of Science, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT), in 2022, advised by Professor Tingting Wu. Her research interests include inverse problems, optimization, computational imaging, scientific machine learning, and generative models for scientific inverse problems. She has published several papers in top journals, including SIIMS, SIMODS, Inverse Problems, IEEE TMM, PR, etc. She received several premium awards, including National scholarship, outstanding Master's degree thesis of Jiangsu Province, the honorary title of "top 10 academic stars" for postgraduates of NUPT, outstanding graduates of Jiangsu Province, 1st prize of the 2021 academic innovation forum for postgraduates in Jiangsu Province of "problem driven mathematics and application", 2nd Prize of 17th "Huawei Cup" National Graduate Student Mathematical Contest in modeling (as team leader), etc.
